EJM Ventures Pty Ltd (trading as Crewreers) operates a digital marketplace that facilitates connections between maritime crew members and vessel operators. Crewreers is not:

• An employment agency or labour hire company
• A party to any employment, engagement, or service agreement between crew and operators
• Responsible for the conduct, representations, or decisions of any user
• A certifying authority or regulator of maritime qualifications

No Warranty on User Content

Crewreers does not verify, endorse, or warrant the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any information submitted by users, including but not limited to:

• Crew profiles, work history, and stated qualifications
• Maritime certifications, licences, and compliance documents
• Visa status and right to work
• Operator listings, vessel details, and employment terms

The Verified Badge on crew profiles indicates that identity verification and automated document checks have been performed. It does not constitute a guarantee of the validity or currency of any certification. Operators must independently verify all crew qualifications before making hiring decisions.

Operator Responsibility

Operators using Crewreers to hire crew acknowledge and agree that:

• They are solely responsible for conducting all necessary background checks, qualification verifications, and right-to-work checks
• They must comply with all applicable employment laws, maritime regulations, and workplace health and safety requirements
• Any hiring decision made through or following use of the Platform is made entirely at the operator's own risk
• Crewreers bears no liability for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the engagement of crew found through the Platform

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of New South Wales and the Australian Consumer Law:

• Crewreers provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or harmful components
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to the total amount paid by you to Crewreers in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim

Safety at Sea

Maritime employment carries inherent risks. Crewreers strongly encourages all crew members and operators to:

• Ensure all required certifications are current and valid before commencing any voyage
• Comply with all AMSA (Australian Maritime Safety Authority) requirements and the Maritime Labour Convention 2006
• Not misrepresent qualifications or experience — doing so could endanger lives at sea

Any user found to have submitted false safety certifications will be permanently banned from the Platform and reported to the relevant maritime authority.

Governing Law

This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute arising in connection with this Disclaimer will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
