Conditions
Last updated: March 2026 · Governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Crewreers platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Crewreers.

1. About Crewreers

Crewreers is a maritime crew networking platform operated by EJM Ventures Pty Ltd (ABN 80 696 343 889), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us", "our", "Crewreers").

The Crewreers platform (the "Platform") connects maritime crew members seeking employment with vessel operators, charter companies, marinas, and yacht management firms seeking to hire crew ("Operators"). Crewreers is a marketplace platform only — we are not an employment agency, labour hire company, or party to any employment arrangement between crew and operators.

2. Eligibility

To use Crewreers, you must:

The minimum age of 18 is set in accordance with the practical requirements of the maritime industry and the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC 2006), which restricts night work for crew under 18.

By registering on Crewreers, you confirm you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where this requirement is not met.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to use the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account details up to date.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@crewreers.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Document Verification and the Verified Badge

Crewreers offers optional document verification for crew members subscribed to the Captain's Pick plan. Verified crew receive a Verified Trust Badge on their profile.

Important: The Verified Badge indicates that a crew member's identity has been verified via Stripe Identity and their submitted documents have passed automated AI authenticity checks. It does not constitute a guarantee or warranty by Crewreers that any certification, qualification, or document is valid, current, or authentic.

Crewreers expressly disclaims any liability arising from reliance on verified badges or document checks. Operators remain solely responsible for independently verifying all crew qualifications, certifications, and eligibility to work before making any hiring decisions.

Any crew member who submits false, fraudulent, or misrepresented documents will have their account immediately terminated and may be subject to legal action.
